Introduction to Bulletin Mail.

Bulletin Mail is a subscription push email service for your mobile phone. Bulletin Mail provides a dedicated mobile email address and easily integrates with existing POP and IMAP email services. Bulletin Mail allows your email to roam with you, even when your office can't.

This user guide is specifically for Mobile Bulletin Mail, and is supplementary to the full Bulletin Mail User Guide.

WAP Links in Mesasges.

When you receive an SMS message from Bulletin Mail, and providing you are logged in to Bulletin Mail, tapping on the WAP link in the message will take you directly to the message.

If you are not logged in, tapping the WAP link will take you to the Login page.

Logging In.

The first time you connect to Mobile Bulletin Mail you will be asked to login. Enter your existing Bulletin Mail account Username and Password and tap the Login button.

Messages.

After successfully logging in, a summary of your unread messages will be displayed.

Message Summary

Tapping on a message summary will display the entire message. Tapping on the Reply button will take you to the Compose page. Tapping on the Actions button will take you to the Actions page.

Actions.

Tapping on the Actions button on any page will take you to this page, which displays the following options:

Message Details

  • Recent
    This option displays a summary of the last 40 messages received.
  • Unread
    This options displays the Messages page initially displayed after login. It displays a summary of unread messages.
  • Compose
    This option displays the Compose page, which allows you to compose and send a message.
  • Add Contact
    This option displays the Add Contact page, which allows you to add contacts.
  • Options
    • Preferences
      This option allows you to turn Receive Unfiltered and Always Authenticate on or off. See the full Bulletin Mail User Guide for more details.
    • Do Not Disturb...
      This option allows you to disable or set a Do Not Disturb period.
  • Help
    This option displays this page.
  • Logout
    Tapping this option will log you out of Bulletin Mail.

Composing a Message

This page allows you to compose a new message.

Tap on the contact you wish to send a message to, or tap the Add Contact button to add a contact.

Select a Contact

After tapping on the contact, tap in the message field, type in the message and tap the Send button.

Adding a Contact.

There are three fields which need to be completed for each contact:

  1. Name
    This is the name of the contact.
  2. Alias
    This is the alias name you give the contact.
  3. Email
    This is the email address for the contact.

All fields are mandatory.
